Unicode Symbols
My browser can display many more symbols than I know how to input with my keyboard: eg — that one has a name, "em dash", and an html name, "—" as well as a unicode: U+2014 (hex = 8212 decimal). Names begin with a '&' and end with a ';' . Here are some more:
